Some spare time in the Torquay
A few 120mm pictures taken in Torquay on my Holga 120GN.
Last month I had the pleasure of photographing the Young Farmers Convention in Torquay for a leading industry publication.
While there, I was afforded a couple of hours to go out and explore the town. For some reason, I decided to bring my Holga 120GN – a plastic camera which has previously given me mixed results, more often than not.
To avoid all that, this time I attacked the Holga with some masking tape – ensuring that the back wouldn’t fall off and that the shutterspeed wouldn’t accidentally get set to bulb mode again.
Low and behold, I managed to get some pretty respectable results from it.
I’m calling the selection here, “A Holga in Torquay”.
