Initial thoughts on: Dubblefilm’s Jelly
Well, Jelly is definitely one of the more “out there” films I have ever shot with.
If you are not familiar with Dubblefilm’s products by now, essentially they are repurposed 35mm films which deliver strange and varying results that depend on the shooting conditions.
Jelly is the latest wonder from Dubblefilm, a film that coats your images with a weird and wonderful variety of colours. Like most quirky films, sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.
But then, half the fun is the unpredictable results that you get.
I shot this roll back in December in the UK – the weather was kind of bland, grey skies and a bit of drizzle. So these shots probably don’t represent the best that Jelly has to offer.
That said, I can image that Jelly works wonders during sunny days, so I’ll be sure to be purchasing some more in the summer months this year.
In short, I like it!
